MEASUREMENT PRINCIPLE

The QUANTIK IR-800  Digital Colorimeter has an infrared radiation source with incidence on the  coffeesample surface, where some amount of it is absorved,and reflected  radiation is quantified by the instrumentin a relative scale which is  defined by reference elements.
 

HOW TO USE IT

Once  calibrated, the instrument can be easily operated.just pour coffee into  sample-holder celi, which must filled up and completely leveled to be put  into ameasurement chamber and the reflected radiation readout will appear  on the- display.
